Plantation Resort is situated on a two acre site on the picturesque shoreline so you can fully immerse yourself in the wonderful natural surroundings and enjoy all that Rainbow Beach has to offer.
Sleeps four in one x king size bed and two x single beds. All beds are made for your arrival and towels are provided, please bring your own beach towels.
Please supply your own personal and household items such as hair and body products, washing powder, dishwashing liquid, toilet paper, garbage bags etc.
Basic starter supplies are provided eg. toilet paper, washing powder, soap, shampoo/conditioner, milk, tea, coffee, sugar, etc. There are two local supermarkets nearby if you need to replenish anything.
Babies or toddlers sleeping in a portacot or bassinet are not included in the maximum occupancy.
Portacots and high chairs can also be hired at an additional cost.

Resort Style Summer
Em - 24th January 2022Plantation Resort is a wonderful facility right on the beach of beautiful Rainbow Beach. Located on Butchulla country, you can walk down to the beach front and check the tides, set up for the day or go for a fish. The apartment is well appointed, if a little dated, spacious and has good facilities. There is a need for some refurbishment of the lounge, interior painting and manchester to bring it in line with other properties at the same price point, but we will be staying there again as it is so convenient to the town centre and for a family vacation. The staff are friendly and accommodating both in the resort and through the rental agency we booked through. Rainbow Beach is beautiful and this is, for us, a great getaway and excellent property to stay in.

Kylie - 9th January 2022First time in Rainbow didn’t realise the Main Street would be so busy and noisey with 4wd and utes all day! Lucky apartment 101 has a second outdoor area on the poolside which is a lot quieter. Pool is quite small so one you get a few kids in their it’s not the most relaxing swim, make the most of it when empty! Room although a strange set up (toilet has a glass shower door?) was good. Beds were a bit uncomfortable, and only one 2 seater lounge, so for a 2 bedroom unit not ideal. Cutlery only 3 forks and a very small frying pan, pleznty of plates though! Overall very clean and tidy. We rented through Cooloola cove real estate and they were very helpful. We did a day trip to Fraser but without a 4wd there is not much to do at Rainbow.
Fantastic romantic getaway
Alex - 15th March 2021I booked this unit as a romantic getaway for my partner and I. Bar the penthouse suite, it was the most luxury I could find and it definitely met my expectations. The location was great because everything was within a very short walk. The unit was lovely and clean, the furniture nice and sturdy, and the spa bath very luxurious. I loved the open plan feel of it. We didn't have the ocean view side but it was fun to be able to sit on the balcony sipping wine in the evening and people watch the passers by. I'd definitely rent this place again.
Unit was ok, but not the noise during the Day.
Horst - 16th October 2020Your Office did not inform us about the Council Work during the Day. If I would have known, I would habe changed my booking to a more relaxing location, hence this holiday was not as good, as it could have been.
