Separate, spacious living areas allow room for a large or extended family which is perfect for beach side holidays with family and friends. Gorgeous wrap around decks overlook the huge in ground pool and the home feels more like a resort than a residence.
Cook up a storm in the huge, functional kitchen which features a handy island bench and a dishwasher. The open-plan design sees the kitchen flowing into the upstairs living area and straight onto the massive deck for easy, relaxed living. And you can keep an eye on the kids from there as well.
Free Wi-Fi for guests as well.
Bring the family pet along on your holiday (outdoors only please) and they will safe inside the fenced back yard.

Sleeps ten in one x king size bed, three x queen size beds and two x single beds.
Please note that (unless specified in the description) our holiday properties are not supplied with linen. Properties are supplied with doonas/doona covers or blankets as well as pillows; however, you will need to BYO or hire linen from our office including: sheets, pillowcases, towels, bath mats, hand towels, tea towels, face washers.
Babies or toddlers sleeping in a portacot or bassinet are not included in the maximum occupancy.
Portacots and high chairs can also be hired at an additional cost.
Please supply your own personal and household items such as washing powder, soap, dishwashing liquid, toilet paper etc.
Pet friendly properties are not all fully fenced, please refer to the individual property description. If you intend to bring a pet with you, please note that there is an additional 50 per pet levy payable.

Comfortable accommodation

Very well equiped kitchen, lovely BBQ area & comfortable beds. 3 bathrooms were a bonus also. I would not hesitate in recommending Barny's for a holiday stay. Also, the girls at Cooloola Coast Realty were very helpful & friendly. Will definitely be back.
Great place!
Kylie - 4th October 2020It's a great place to stay within walking distance to the main street, beach and shops. You just need to update the curtains as they look dirty and old, maybe include a large electric frypan and ensure you have enough dining room seating for 10 people inside. Also before guests arrive you need to make certain that the internet is working as sometimes this is very important to the guests and ensure the instructions are up-to-date and include information on trouble shooting for the TV in them as we couldn't get it working until Monday (2 days after we arrived) and it was something very simple that could have been in your instructions. Did any of these things ruin our holiday, certainly not but it would have improved it. Otherwise we will definitely be back to stay again.
Great House, Great Spot, Had a Ball!
Chris - 19th July 2020Barny's is a great house in a great location! It is big and spacious with heaps of room. We had 6 adults and 3 kids and it was heaps of space. The verandah is huge and provides an amazing view down over the pool. The only drawback is that it is a little tired and a bit dirty. There is a lot of trinkets (old candles with no wax and dusty vases of old shells) that really just need to be chucked out! Old curtains that are ready for the bin and a stained couch that needs replacing. Does it break the deal? No, but just brings it all down a little. Do a cull guys, the house would be better for it! Some of the beds were pretty tired but the master bed was great. Would I stay again? Yes Would it be great if it was just fixed up a bit and cleaned out a bit? Yes
The Perfect place for a Family Reunion
Robert - 2nd September 2019Just had a long weekend with all the family (9 of us), to celebrate an important birthday. This is the perfect property and location, and was mid-way between Bargara and Brisbane. Beach and good restaurants within easy walking distance. Very relaxing.
Needs improvement on comfort
AnnL - 25th August 2019Large home for all our family, great location, but the lounge suite and mattresses have past their use-by-date. The light switch in upstairs ensuite didn't work, so couldn't use bathroom at night. An electric socket didn't work either, garage remote on one of the doors didn't work. A baby safety gate at the top of the stairs would have been invaluable and could easily be removed when guest had no little ones. A new frying pan is needed also. These are small things that need to be addressed, but certainly didn't detract from a great time for all our family, we would stay here again if there are upgrades done.
Great Holiday Home
kell48 - 17th March 2019This is the second time we have stayed at Barneys now and will def stay here again. The house is lovely and clean with everything you need. The oven seems to leak a lot of hot air and does not cook properly and the main bed is a little wobbly and uncomfortable. But otherwise this house is perfect. Also we had a little issue where I contacted the lovely ladies from Cooloola Coast Realty and they were amazing and assisted immediately. This was an issue that was not related to the house and they didn't have to respond but they did. I always book through Cooloola Coast Realty and they are always so accommodating.
Great place... Heaps room... close to town
Sue - 2nd April 2018Had a great family stay...lots room with lovely verandahs.. . Fended yard...fenced Pool...verandahs safe too. Great for the family pets and kids. Love to go again. We walked everywhere. So accessible. Even the dog went for her own swim on the beach as she found easy to find.... whilst we were packing up.... thanks to locals for there help.
Fantastic Beach House
Darren - 14th November 2016We had a great time we had in late OCT Stayed for 12 nights and we were very very happy with the house . Very spacious, clean & very comfortable . The veranda is like a whole other spacious outdoor family area . We spent plenty of time out there and in the pool . Will be recommending it to others who are looking for a spacious well set out house .
Great Layout
Melsy - 23rd February 2016Great house, well designed and perfect for the family. Plenty of space and room to do your own thing. Beautiful and well maintained pool, comfortable furnishings and a great entertaining kitchen layout. Only suggestions would include: updating kitchen crockery & glassware, better knives and/or knife sharpener, and a pantry (we had to consolidate cupboard space to make a space as our pantry), otherwise it ticks all the boxes!!
Greate Place to stay for a week
